TL;DR — The close-fit leather case is the plainest pocket case in the catalog and the one with the widest stated opening in its three-cigar form: 23 mm for the two-cigar version, 28 mm for the three-cigar version. Usable length is not published; the 180 mm and 193 mm exteriors suggest cigars up to about 160 mm and 175 mm. It ships in a gift box at $39.

Who buys this case
Someone who wants a leather case that does one job without decoration: two or three cigars in a jacket, held in their own channels, opened with one hand. It is the case most often bought as a second, plainer pocket case after an illustrated one, and the case most often bought for a 60-gauge smoker, because the three-cigar version’s 28 mm opening is the largest figure on any product page here.

Which cigars fit
Two-cigar version, 23 mm: a 50 (19.8 mm) sits with 3 mm of room, a 54 (21.4 mm) with 1.6 mm, a 56 (22.2 mm) snugly, and a 58 (23.0 mm) at the limit. Three-cigar version, 28 mm: anything up to a 64 (25.4 mm) with room, which makes it the catalog’s answer for Gordos. Length in both: comfortable to about 155 mm, probable to 160 mm in the two-cigar shell and 175 mm in the three-cigar shell, unconfirmed beyond that.

Construction and closure
Hand-cut cowhide panels are stitched over a molded interior that forms the channels; there is no cedar and no rigid shell. The cap slides on over the open end and holds by friction, which on new units is firm enough to carry the case upside down. Leather softens with months of use and the cap eases; when it opens by itself in a bag the case has become a pocket-only case. The stitching is the part to inspect on arrival: straight, even, no loose thread ends.
Against its neighbours
Against the illustrated leather case: same construction, but that case states a 160 mm and 56-gauge fit and offers thirteen finishes at $99, while this one states openings, comes in one plain leather, and costs $39. Against the horse-motif cedar-tube case: same 180 × 70 × 35 mm footprint, but cedar tubes of about 25 mm at from $69. Against the cowhide sleeve: cedar insert versus molded leather, and the sleeve ($49) has no stated opening.

Care that applies here
Dry cloth on the outside. A trace of neutral balm once a year on the exterior only; balm on a molded channel transfers to wrappers. Air the empty case open for a few days when new to lose the tanning smell. Never store cigars in it for more than a night; the ends are not sealed.
Before ordering
Decide two or three by how many you carry, not by opening size, unless you smoke 58 and above, in which case the three-cigar version is the only choice. If your longest cigar is over 160 mm, email the product name and the cigar’s length for a sample measurement. Check the variation you selected; the two versions have different openings and different package sizes.

Frequently asked questions
Does the 28 mm figure apply to each channel or to the whole case?
The supplier lists it as the three-cigar opening. It is read here as the channel mouth; if you need certainty for a cigar over 60 gauge, ask for a measurement.
Is the leather lined?
The interior is the molded leather itself; there is no separate lining or cedar.
Can the two-cigar version take a 58?
At the limit, snugly. A 56 is the comfortable maximum for that version.
Which colour is it?
One plain brown leather. For colours, see the illustrated leather case built the same way.
