TL;DR — The solid-cedar four-cigar case is the best-documented product in the catalog and the only one with a stated 190 mm slot, which makes it the case for Churchills, Double Coronas, and Lanceros. Its 22 mm slot width stops at a 54–56 ring gauge. Body and tray are cedar, the exterior is polished, the clasp is metal, and the tray lifts out to make tool space. $199.

Who buys this case
A smoker of long cigars, first: nothing else here states 190 mm inside. A desk or bag smoker who wants cedar against the wrapper and a rigid box, second. And a gift buyer who wants something that looks like a cigar accessory rather than a wallet, third. It is not a jacket case; at 240 × 142 × 32 mm it is a bag or a desk object.
Specifications as supplied
| Material | Solid cedar |
|---|---|
| Capacity | 4 cigars |
| Exterior size | 240 × 142 × 32 mm |
| Maximum slot length | 190 mm |
| Slot width | 22 mm |
Both interior figures are published, which is why this case appears in every fit-answer post about long cigars. Weight is not listed; the case is heavier than any leather case in the catalog.
Which cigars fit
Length: a 7 in Churchill (178 mm) with 12 mm spare; a 7.5 in Double Corona or Lancero (190 mm) exactly, which is acceptable in a flat cedar slot with a non-compressing lid; a 7.6 in (194 mm) does not. Width: a 50 (19.8 mm) easily, a 54 (21.4 mm) comfortably, a 56 (22.2 mm) only if the cigar measures under nominal. A 60 does not go in. The slot is long and narrow: the right case for a Churchill, the wrong one for a Gordo.

Construction and closure
Cedar body and lid with rounded edges and a clear polished finish on the outside; the interior is bare cedar. A removable four-channel tray sits in the body; lift it out and the box is a flat compartment for a cutter and lighter, which is the case’s second use. A small metal clasp holds the lid firmly but there is no gasket and no seal. The polish shows fingerprints and marks; the cedar underneath dents rather than chips.
Against its neighbours
Against the two lacquered four-cigar boxes: the same tray idea, but those publish no interior dimensions and carry a painted lid; this one publishes both figures and is plain. Against the zippered five-cigar case: that one is shorter inside (165 mm) and wider (23.5 mm), encloses fully, and accepts a pack; this one is longer, narrower, open, and rigid. Against the eight-cigar travel humidor: different job entirely; that is a travelling enclosure, this is a cedar box.

Care that applies here
Dry brush for the channels and tray; a dry cloth for the polished exterior. Keep it away from water: cedar swells and the tray warps. Do not try to season it; it is not sealed and wetting the wood does nothing useful. Fresh cedar is strongly aromatic for the first weeks; air the empty box if you prefer less on a mild cigar.
Before ordering
Measure your widest cigar across the body; if it is over 22 mm the case is wrong for it regardless of length. If you carry a cutter in the box, plan on three cigars plus the tray removed, or four cigars and the cutter elsewhere. Expect a bag-sized object, not a pocket one.

Frequently asked questions
Is the cedar sealed inside?
No; the interior is bare cedar. Only the exterior is polished.
Can a humidity pack go under the tray?
There is a little room, but the box is not sealed and the pack will dry out quickly. It is not designed for one.
Will a 56 fit?
Only if it measures 22 mm or under across the body. Nominal 56s vary; measure yours.
Is the tray removable for cleaning?
Yes; it lifts straight out.
