TL;DR — The Napoleon four-cigar lacquered case shares its body, tray, and hinges with the Qianlong case; the lid reproduces the well-known painting of Napoleon on horseback under high-gloss lacquer. Interior dimensions are not published. It is a desk and gift piece for four cigars up to about Toro length and 54 ring gauge. $199.

Who buys this case
The buyer choosing between the two lacquered cases on the strength of the painting: this one is the European image, the Qianlong the Chinese one. Beyond the lid, the reasons are the same as for its twin: four cigars on a desk, a gift with visual weight, a box for the shelf rather than the pocket.
Specifications as supplied
| Capacity | 4 cigars |
|---|---|
| Exterior | High-gloss lacquered wood |
| Interior | Wood or cedar-lined, removable four-channel tray |
| Hardware | Metal hinges, rounded edges |
| Dimensions | Not specified |
As with its twin, nothing inside is measured on the listing. For a known large or long cigar, the solid-cedar case is the documented alternative.
Which cigars fit
Robustos and Toros at 50–52 with confidence; 54 probably; 56 and above and anything over Toro length only after a sample measurement by email. The tray’s four channels are equal; there is no wider slot for a single large cigar.
Construction and closure
Lacquered wood, hinged lid, lift-out four-channel tray, no gasket. The gloss is the case’s feature and its weak point: it looks like glass on a desk and shows every fingerprint, and it chips if a corner meets a hard floor. The painting sits under a clear top coat; scratches in the top coat can be polished, scratches through it cannot.
Against its neighbours
Against the Qianlong case: the lid. Against the solid-cedar case: published interior, clasp, plain finish, and a case that travels without worry. Against the vintage leather case: a rigid three-cigar pocket case at $49 that goes in a jacket, which this box never will.

Care that applies here
Dry microfiber cloth only. Shelf, drawer, or cloth-wrapped in the middle of a bag. Away from windows and radiators. A clear lacquer touch-up on an edge chip if the paint is intact; nothing else.
Before ordering
Decide on the artwork, since it is the purchase. If the cigars are known and large, ask about the interior or choose the cedar case. Expect protective packaging rather than a gift box.

Is the artwork licensed?
It reproduces a historical painting in the public domain.
Can I get it without the painting?
Not in this construction; the plain equivalent is the solid-cedar four-cigar case.

No; it is not a humidor and should not be wetted.
Will it fit a 56?
Unconfirmed. Ask for a sample measurement or choose a case with a stated 23.5 mm or wider channel.
