A pointed cap does not reduce the required body width
52 ring converts to 20.6375 mm; 54 converts to 21.43125 mm. The channel must clear the widest cross-section through which the cigar passes. Measuring at the pointed tip would understate the space needed.
Length includes the intact tip
Measure the whole cigar as carried. Cap overlap and lid shape may matter even when two nominal dimensions pass, so dimensional matches remain candidates. We do not deduct the pointed section from the length or imply that taper changes the supplier limit.
