Why two Robustos can need different cases
The published guide range is 4¾–5½ inches and 48–52 ring. That spans 120.65–139.7 mm in length. A case comparison made with the 127 mm example does not automatically apply to a longer Robusto Extra. The manufacturer examples below also include short, wider formats; they are grouped here for comparison rather than declared interchangeable.
Retention matters as well as clearance
The 150–180 mm compatibility range listed on our hard cases does not cover the 124 mm factory Robusto. A shorter cigar may occupy less space, but the published range alone does not establish how securely it is retained. The finder therefore flags it instead of promising a fit.
