Use the size on the listing, not an assumed average

In a label such as 6 × 52, the first number is the length in inches and the second is ring gauge. That converts to 152.4 mm long and 20.6375 mm in nominal diameter. The cigar band may identify a brand; it does not reliably provide those measurements.

A 56 ring gauge diameter is 22.225 mm. A 22 mm opening is smaller, even when a product description rounds it to “about 56.” Likewise, 7½ inches is 190.5 mm and is longer than a 190 mm maximum slot. The calculator does not round a failed comparison into a match.
